The exciting, festive Sleaford Christmas Market and town lights switch on ceremony, organised by Sleaford Town Council, will take place on Sunday 29th November 2026!
The Christmas Market will be held in the centre of town in various outdoor venues – Market Place, Eastgate Car Park, Eastgate Green, the Town Hall, Navigation Yard and Riverside.
There will be so much to see and do for all the family on the day! Relaxing horse carriage rides around town (no charge), a huge and wide range of stalls selling fabulous items, tasty food and drink and seating to unwind on, live music, dancing and entertainment, interactions with walkabout characters, fairground rides and games. There will also be face painters for the children (no charge) and more to be announced!
The event will be opened by the Mayor of Sleaford and the Town Crier and the town’s Christmas lights will be switched on during the late afternoon at 4.15pm.
We will be teaming up with Junior Parkrun on the morning of the Christmas Market at Boston Road Recreation Ground and all runners (age 4 to 14) will receive a Christmas medal from the Mayor of Sleaford.
