Showstoppers at St Denys will feature performances of songs from all genres of music by Ireland’s premier singer/string/piano ensemble. You will hear beloved classics from musicals, film soundtracks and even some chart hits, all specially arranged for the ensemble by composer Richard Rudkins.
Sharon Lyons is an internationally acclaimed soprano who has performed in concert venues all over the world. Sharon has performed for global figures, including Pope Francis, the Dalai Lama, Presidents, Celebrities and Heads of State. She has also contributed her vocal talents to soundtracks for Paramount TV and the History Channel’s Vikings, including a self-composed piece, Sacrifice, which gained viral acclaim on YouTube and has over 1 million plays on Spotify.
Kerry Scotia Ensemble is one of Ireland’s premier string/piano ensembles consisting of a string quartet and piano. The ensemble was esteablished 10 years ago and has performed to sold out audiences all over Ireland and Europe. They have also been the recipient of multiple awards of grants and bursaries from the Arts Act, the Arts Council and the Department of Arts & Culture.
